The second monster is on the way and should be live on Protofactor Store This Friday night. It’s been baptized “Skorpmare”, a mix between scorpion and nightmare. It’s currently being animated. Here is the early sketchfab viewer to check it out in real time:
Just a suggestion, one useful animation would be a begin run and stop run animation. That would help to give a feeling of momentum when the creatures move quickly and come to a sudden stop.

I think they can fit in a really wide range of environments, canyons, underground, caves, alien “forest” etc… But feel free to use them however you like!

Oh, I meant to ask… years ago, there was a monster you did called Phagocillius (I believe it was) and still have a base copy. It was basically a walking Venus Flytrap Was that not deemed worth updating and did it just fade and die, or are there plans to resurrect it?
Thanks you for your support. The grounded creatures should work seamlessly inside Emerald 2.0. Really curious to see how the flying creatuers will be handled. It can be a really awesome update.
Unfortunately those 4 creatures didn’t sell well enough to be worth the upgrade… Unless we do some sort of a mimic monster pack (which can be interesting) they will stay in oblivion. Deinolithe and Phagocyllius could be pretty awesome if upgraded… but this is not planned at the moment…
On a side note we have validated the 4th monster of the pack and we’re currently working on the high resolution version.
Once completed , if this pack is pretty successful, we might consider creating a volume 3.
Hey there! We’re really excited to unveil the 4th monster of this pack! It clearly is something truly original and somehow maybe disturbing. My personal favorite among all Protofactor available models so far. This thing is named “Telluropod”. The monster is currently being animated and will be ready by Friday.
