Resubmit again… can you show what it looks like? There is already so much medieval stuff…
Maybe you fell on a tough cookie reviewer…

Do you have a clean shot of all what is included in your pack. From those images, one can’t really tell what you offer.

The response is literal: They looked at it and decided not to put it on their Asset Store.
The best course of action after getting that response is to re-evaluate the quality and purpose of your asset, then improve it and resubmit or scrap it and move on to something that will be more successful.
mmm, considering the amount of low poly medieval asset on the store, and the amount of high quality models some can have… I can understand their decision. I don’t mean to be rude. But I think what you have to offer kinda falls short…
I think this is what you need to do. Yesterday a low poly medieval asset pack was on the the asset store Front page. You can’t even imagine the amount of high quality models that were included in this pack. Compare that to yours and then you might understand their decision not to publish your asset.
but there are many other published package that have less material then my package
All the more reason to not continue adding them.
Yeah it’s not retroactive. Unity wants more quality going forward.
I’d wager there is something wrong with your models other than mediocre quality, guessing - maybe your poly count isn’t optimized, or there are holes in your mesh or bad modeling practice like fanned tries or non-quad polys.
Another guess - do any of those models have UV’s besides the flags? If not - that’s why.
The quality has to be top shelf stuff - even for low resolution assets.
they have low poly count and texture 16x16 they dont have different material that increase draw calls they have 1material and 1 texture not like other low poly in the asset store
Its the opposite. To high polygon count in a asset is trash!.. It’s much harder work to make a lowpoly model (and look good) than making a high polygon object.
my assets are fully optimized for all the platforms i think they can run even on a n3ds
i have updated in the package the image effect folder is this a problem?
I think Erind that you should work on your texture design, they looks almost texture less no reason for that.
Yep, give them some textures. Do they have textures at all? Look like just flat color. I believe, and correct me if I am wrong, but Unity Asset Store requires textures.
In, my opinion, instead of make the wall, floor and ceiling looks like that, just make a plan cube but give it a texture
something like this
which are different for each of them.
the king’s chair and the chest is good, I think…
watch many video tutorial in youtube about making awesome 3d model and texturing. Get some inspiration there.
I know that’s not easy, I’m also in that process.
Just don’t give up, dude.
thanks you all for your suggestions ![]()
Contrary to what a couple of other people here think, your asset doesn’t look THAT bad. Whether you’re new to 3D modelling or not, there are many games and assets out there that THRIVE on low-polygon models. Just look at Minecraft for example. There are even some games in Legend of Zelda series that have some pretty cartoonlike models. The Windwaker game is a pretty good example for that.
Two big things come to mind as to why they rejected your submission. Maybe your presentation quality could be improved upon. It might also help to link your textures to your materials or use more detailed textures, because according to the submission guidelines, unlinked textures is the most common reason they request resubmissions.
Don’t give up dude! I feel like your 3D models still have a chance to get accepted to the Unity Asset store! If not right now, then maybe you might be able to sell other things, like fonts, icons, sprites, scripts, etc. If you want, you could also hone your 3D modelling techniques and try to resubmit your new and improved models proving to the Unity Asset Store team that you got what it takes to be a Unity Asset Store publisher!
