My first iPhone game is finished :)

Hello guys. After a couple of weeks, my first iPhone Game “iStar Force Fighter” is finished.
The Game was submitted 22. July and is “in Review”.
I hope that Apple gives it free next week. The game has been added to AppStore Thread.

Ingame-Video:

I have it posted now because I’m next week in holiday. Keep an eye on AppStore

Thanks all for great support! And thanks to Unity-Team for the great Engine! I’ll buy the advanced version when I earn enough money for this. Or donate me the advanced version

Hey, that’s good looking stuff! I’ll be sure to check it out, when it launches! Especially since it has accelerator and v-pad controls!

Some questions;

  1. How long?
  2. How many people?
  3. Experience level of people.

Thanks!

do you mean playtime number of players ? or development time ?

Wow, that’s looks fantastic. I can’t wait to play it for real. My game has no where near the amount of professionalism at the moment.

Your game looks absolutely brilliant - well done!

Awesome!! Way to go!!

Development questions, sorry.

  1. How long to develop, not counting “idea time” or any other design-type time?
  2. How many developers? Artist, programmers especially.
  3. Experience level of the developers? Have you made games before? Dabbled? Do it for a living?

Good looking stuff.

  1. between 8-9 weeks. But I had to learn Unity during the development because this is my first game with unity.
  2. I’m sole programmer/developer and artist. Some models are licensed from turbosquid co. I work also with some freelancers for jobs with payment.
  3. In the past I have programmed on C64 Amiga in Assembler. Before I came to Unity, I used Torque engine, blitzbasic, Ogree and some other engines. I have already selled some games for PC. But not made with unity

Are you using actual Star Wars sound samples?

music is licensed but are not Star Wars samples.
Aircraft sfx are free sounds from a big buyed sfx-archive. Not directly from star wars. Are mixed with aircraft- and truck sound manipulated with soundforge. Ported from my old pc game.
