Possible problem in Retention calculation

I’ve noticed that there could be something wrong in the calculation of retention that occured on Dec 7th, where before that date unity retention figures matched our internal analytics figures, but on Dec 7th and onwards unity analytics seems to understate the retention numbers for some reason.

is this happening to anyone else ?
