Here’s something fun we did today evening while refreshing the internet WebGL Diorama
Small Interactive WebGL Diorama out of that Android promo picture I posted earlier, check it out, it’s pretty RAD!
Most of the game uses same shared “mainmaterial” which is just 32x32 unlit texture for colors.
On top of that we are using few custom shaders here and there, mainly unlit texture + something extra on top. For example in the Orca screen above There’s a custom altitudefog shader visible.

We decided to get rid of the ads, and change the game into Free To try(basically shareware model), now you can play the first chapter of the game for free without ads. To access rest of the game you can unlock the game with (2.99). (if you bought the remove ads iAP earlier that also grants full access to the game, or same thing if you managed to get far enough with watching ads). Lets see how this model works!
Not a bad idea, I’ve actually done few test for burn effect like that, but haven’t yet figured a way to make it efficient enough. Maybe static texture planes could be solution for lasers that repeat same tracks. Need to think about it

You are right about demanding. Before spend dollars in store try some similar effect for free and check FPS before and after you put it.
Even if you don’t put that fire effect, the game is still YEY :), but i’ve noticed that after every uploaded update more people are downloading the app. Maybe when you upload new update, your game is shown for a range of time in first pages, so don’t forget to update it often.
EDIT: BTW just saw your game info in google play and saw that your last actualisation were on 22 february, but you forgot to write what was included in this version. After every update you must raise the number ( like 1 to 1.1) and write description of what is new in this update. ( can be just “fix”.
yeah about that, we had a bit of persistent problem/bug with a third party plugin and had to do multible really quick updates in a row. So we decided to leave the update comments empty(dunno if it was wise).
Anyways, I think we finally got the bug fixed, from now on we will update bit more scarcely and we will definitly use the “whats new in update” feature
