Hi everyone! After more than half a year of solo development, my runtime 3D texture painting toolkit is live on the Asset Store.
What it does
Simple Paint 3D lets your players (or your tools) paint directly on 3D meshes at runtime — not just flat color, but full PBR channels (albedo, metallic, smoothness, normal), composited through Photoshop-style layers with per-channel blend modes.
Highlights
-
5 input devices: Mouse, pressure-sensitive Pen, Touch, physics Collision, Particle collisions
-
6 stroke methods: freehand, dot, drag-dot, line, smoothed Bezier, resizable anchored decal
-
4 tools: brush (3 shapes + texture atlas), erase, bucket fill (4 scopes), eyedropper
-
Optional physically-simulated wet paint: adhesion, viscosity, cohesion, gravity flow, evaporation
-
Paints animated/skinned meshes (live pose baked per frame)
-
Automatic UV seam fixing — no visible seams across UV islands
-
Paint-progress tracking for PowerWash-style objectives
-
9 complete demo scenes: coloring book, pottery studio, sticker booth, paint-gun shooter, spray booth, glass cleaner, haunted portrait, water balloon fight + minimal setup

I’ll keep this thread updated with new versions and answer every question here. Feedback is very welcome — especially about what you’d need for YOUR use case (character customizer, cleaning sim, coloring game…). I read everything.
