However, the package uploader tool skip these 2 unimporting (ends with ~) folders. How can I include them so my user can press import sample buttons or have the “Documentation” link go to local documentation when internet is not available, as is the case for UPM package that wasn’t from Asset Store? (Like Unity’s package nowadays)
This was happening to me, and in my case it was because i did not have any .meta fiels under Samples~. So, rename Samples~ to Samples to get .meta files generated, then rename it back to Samples~, and remove Samples~.meta, then create package.
