That’s below “low-end” these days. You might be able to get Unity 3.5 to work on it, but it would be a terrible experience and you wouldn’t be able to do much. Also none of the current learning materials would work for something so outdated. You’d be better off with a newer computer.

This. Just about every computer made in the last decade will seriously overpower that computer. If you’re in a city check if there are any local rummage stores. You can very easily pick up a used computer for an affordable price. Alternatively if you’re like me in the middle of nowhere check eBay. Used workstations can be had for under $100.
Once you have one just insert a budget low profile graphics card (eg a GeForce GT 1030) and you’ll be good to go.
