I was wondering and want to know that what kind of tablet will be good to buy so that I can check the Android games which I will be making. I have seen the thread in which there is a list of mobile devices that are contactable with Unity3d after that I got this question that if I buy some other device than those listed will I be able to check my Android Games or not.
I want to buy Tablet because of big screen 10 Inch, in this way I can learn Unity3d on the go from the net or from the stored Video tutorials. I don’t want to by Android phone because I already have one mobile but it is not a android mobile.
So please guys help me and let me know what is the good way to go for , because it is very important to check the game before posting in the google market and it also improves the game when tested on the device. I will also play the game so that if it contain any bugs or errors I can get know of it.
My budget is 300 or very max 350 Dollars only and I am from India there are many Tablets out there with a price from 150 - 300 Dollars here in India but I am not sure that they will be good to buy for testing or not.
I need some tips on making Android games like how much polygons are allowed per scene, mean to say that the kind of tips by which I can make the game good in graphics wise and fast as when it is run on the simple Android device. So please guys if there is some kind of tutorial or websites please tell me. What else is need so that I can work smoothly on the Android games.

StaticNova if you are telling me that if I can buy anything from those two devices than I will say that yes I can buy, not from the google store but from the online sites. We have many online site in which I have seen that Nexus on some sites.
Nexus 10 is 38,000 Indian Currency , 1 $ = 55 Indian Currency. that means the Nexus 10 is out of my Range. Yes I can wait for some time and I can buy the Nexus 7.
But please let me know that is Nexus so much important or I can also go for other devices too. Please let me know.
Yes, the Nexus 7 is as good as it gets on a budget. It’s one of the most popular devices, ensuring you a decent comparability from the start. I have just one question that if I buy some thing else will it work or not, because guys please believe me here in my city those Tablets are really on a high price. Like in your area they are about 200$ for Nexus 7 and 500$ for Nexus 10. But here in my area Nexus 7 is for 350$ and Nexus 10 is like about 600$.
See the difference If I can get Nexus 7 in 200$ I will be happy but it is not the same. So my question is that like as for starting can I go for something a little less cheap Tablet or not, Or Nexus 7 will be the best. Since if I would have much much money I haven’t started this thread.

Since it’s all about money , I am going for Tablet so that I can also learn unity and scripting on the go. And if the game is working on the Tablet with little tweaks it will also work on some good mobile phones too. This is what I am thinking.
And the Price of those 4 Listed Tabs is from 100 to 250 .
If you’re willing to shell out $250,- for a tablet like that, I would seriously recommend to save up a bit more and go for a Nexus 7. At first, any tablet will do the trick if you only intend to learn from it. But when you want to develop for Android and publish your apps you may run into device specific issues or that the device just doesn’t have enough power to work with. You’ll regret not purchasing a Nexus 7 if your goal is to either publish apps on the playstore or create power intensive games. If that’s not your goal, than any tablet will do fine.

Yes after thinking a lot and researching I found that Nexus 7 is really good, I will try to buy it after some time. Like I think I have to wait for some months and than I can get some money. For me it’s expensive but Google team is not taking money for nothing, that tablet is really powerful and yes you are right that after buying it I think I will don’t have to buy another for about 2 years (maybe).
I will try to get the nexus 7 , but the price is so much high here in India that I don’t know when I will get it. One more thing if anyone check this thread than please do suggest me some more tablets out there, because just the choice of one is like not looking good for me.
So please guys let me know some other tablets too.
