I have a scroll rect which has a few buttons on it. I’m not sure why, but I notice that everything get’s masked except the textmeshpro components of the button. I’m using the mobile distance field shader and have tried with the non-mobile distance field and get the same result. Even when I take the text outside of the button so it’s not childed to it, the same thing happens. It happens whether the content is made in real time or already inside at build time. Help would be appreciated!
BTW. I have a couple of devices - This happens on Galaxy S9 from what I’ve seen so far - not in the editor nor in Galaxy S6
Please test with the latest preview release of the TMP package which is 1.5.0-preview.3 for Unity 2018.x, 2.1.0-preview.3 for Unity 2019.x and 3.0.0-preview.3 for Unity 2020.x and let me know if you run into the same issue?
I’m afraid I can’t do that right now but I am now but if it helps I’m on TMPro version 2.0.1 atm (according to the package manager)
I made improvements to the handling of the clipping / 2D RectMask in these latest releases which are likely to resolve your issue hence why I recommended you try those out.
