Unity DevOps updates in 2026

Starting in March 1st, 2026, Unity is updating pricing and packaging for Unity DevOps, including Unity Version Control and Unity Build Automation.

For Unity Version Control in the public cloud:

  • Seat charges are being removed.
  • The free tier for storage increases to 25 GB (up from 5 GB).
  • Free egress includes 100 GB.

For Unity Build Automation:

  • Free usage includes 200 minutes of Standard Compute (Windows).
  • Free usage includes 100 minutes of Standard Compute (Mac).
  • Concurrency includes the first two machines at no cost.

To help teams understand and plan around bandwidth usage, Unity is not charging for egress during March and April 2026.

I’m waiting over 60 mins to start a build - is this a new feature?

p.s. I can’t build locally because il2cpp builds in U6.3 → U6.4 are totally broken.

Canceled build and it next one was scheduled within reasonable wait time. And another one too. So looks like queuing algo is begging for your attention guys.

Hi @sergiusz308, thank you for bringing this to our attention. I’ve passed your feedback along to the team responsible for this service.

Hi @sergiusz308 ,

Thanks for your patience with this. I do see that you were able to complete your build after a few attempts. From what I can see, the first few attempts were assigned to a builder that was experiencing issues temporarily (it is now operating normally). This is quite uncommon, and I do thank you for your patience in getting it working.

Kind Regards

Hello can I ask something? why in the unity cloud I cant see the devops … or this Version Control is the new one?

Hi @Michiro02 , the Dashboard is now showing Build Automation and Version Control as top-level items to improve user discoverability and remove clutter. You can select either shortcut depending on what service you’d like to browse.
