Unity Hub can't install Editor "Incomplete or corrupted download file"

Hey guys,

i can’t get Unity hub to work correctly, i always get the same error.
Things i’ve already tried:

  • Unchecking all Modules
  • Turning off Virus-/Firewall- and Networkprotection
  • Reinstalling Unity Hub
  • Testing on 3 different PC’s on Win 8.1 and Win 10, and on Mac OSX 11.2.3
  • Setting a new location for installation
  • Running Unity Hub as Admin

The installation of Unity Hub always went perfect but as soon as i try to download an Editor it fails

Does anyone have a fix for this issue?

EDIT: When i try to download the .exe via the link that i found in the log file the download always get’s stuck at 1,1gb - so same as in Unity Hub

Hi, which version are trying to install?

Looks like Hub cannot download the whole file. I will try the Unity download archive instead.

I tried different versions, mostly the latest LTS-Builds

When i installed via the archive i couldn’t get the Android-Build-Support to work properly because it was not installing all components. Do you know a possible fix for that?

I used the full editor installer and didn’t test Android. I suppose if you download “Unity Installer”, it could help you.

I tried today several time on BigSur (Intel) with Unity Hub Version 2.4.3.

I gave the Unity Hub full disk access from Secuity & Privacy.

I have 350GB of free space, it seems they aren’t enough or it’s (most probably) an installer bug.

I’m trying to manually download the .pkg file reported in the log file.
