Unity Inputfield not registering chinese characters on Android

If you enable “Hide Mobile Input” parameter in inputfield and build it for android, the inputfield doesnt register for chinese characters. It works again if we disable the “Hide Mobile Input” parameter.

PS: On IOS both options are working fine.
