unity over flash in html page

This is a question for unity support:

  • as far as tests go (on current browsers on mac and pc), you can have a web page where the unity window is displayed over a flash window using divs (for instance a 800x600 flash application, with unity covering the top left 600x400 part of that flash application).
  • question: is this feature officially supported and can we rely on it to work with later browser upgrades?
  • Are there reasons to believe that this could not work in the future?

Tks

It should work cause it works due to the reason that unity pushes itself always in front on 2D browsers. on browsers with 3D rendering (webkit based), you have explicit control over it, so it works there too.

The only reason it could not work is a browser with security limitations that don’t allow multiple plugins or div overlays in general but then its not a unity thing but a general messup you can’t do anything against anyway
