When I try to play this game I get the error message “Failed to update Unity Web Player.”
I’ve been trying to solve this all yesterday and It has come to the point to where I need professional help.
This happens in all of my browsers, Google Chrome and Firefox.
I have cleared my cache and deleted cookies and that hasn’t worked.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the web player so many times…
I’ve done a hard reboot of my computer, that doesn’t work.
I’ve been on numerous threads/forums trying to find an answer to help me but nothing so far.
I see people say when they disable their IDM (Internet Download Manager) It works, But I don’t think I have internet download manager cause isn’t that an addon you download for your browser? If so I never downloaded it.
I’m currently running on windows 7.
Oh and when I try to find any folders for Unity web player, nothing shows up on my computer, just the installer.
I really need some help and It would be awesome if I could get this working.
So what game are you trying to run? Do other games work?
Can you link the webplayer log file (Unity - Manual: Log files) here?
