In Project Settings/MetaXR Project Setup Tool
I’m seeing under “Recommended Items”
“Unity’s OpenXR plugin is not recommended when using Oculus SDK, please use Oculus XR Plug-in instead”
When I select “Apply” the item goes away, but returns after a few seconds.
How can I resolve this?
I’m using Unity 2022.3.21f1 and Meta XR All-in-One SDK 62.0.0
Not sure if all Meta’s features support native OpenXR, but you can add it to the ignored list and just use OpenXR how you want.
This is a warning from Meta, not Unity
Hi. I’m not using OpenXR nor do I plan to. I’m just trying to figure out why this warning won’t go away. Thanks.
It should go away if the OpenXR package is removed from the package manager
Hi, I can’t remove it. The “Remove” button is greyed out…
So you have the VR services installed?
I have the VR Feature installed via Package Manager
Remove that and add the packages you need separately. Or ignore the warning
