PolySpatial 3.0 Release Notes

Supported Versions

  • Unity 6.000.3.0f1 or newer (Apple Silicon version only).
  • Xcode 16.0 and newer
  • visionOS 2.0 and newer, including visionOS 26 SDK.

Additional Known Issues

All App Modes

  • Text is distorted in the Input Debug sample Scene.
    • This is a known issue and we’ll be addressing this in a future release.
  • Running Portal sample Scene in PlayMode with 6000.3 on a Windows machine results in repeated messages in the editor console.
    • This is a known issue with current samples in 6000.3. To workaround, change the texture assigned to the Base Map of the Floor material to a texture that is not RGB8 sRGB.
  • Upgrading 6000.0.22f1 URP Metal projects to 6000.3 does not appear to fully upgrade the URP asset causing passthrough black screen in XR VisionOS Metal URP samples.
    • To workaround, create a new URP asset after upgrading.

With this version sprites are not rendering.

Getting the same issue… This is baffling! How such a basic feature was missed from their internal testing (assuming there’s any…)

Oh, and the project also doesn’t build in Xcode if you include Unity IAP (5.2.0-pre.2 which specifically mentions Vision OS fixes).
I get the following error:
Libraries/com.unity.purchasing/Plugins/UnityPurchasing/iOS/SK2/StoreKitManager.swift:511:28 Cannot find 'StorefrontResponse' in scope"

@IsaacsUnity When can we expect a fix for the Sprites not rendering issue? That’s a massive deal breaker.
