Hey everyone,
Hoping someone here could set me straight as I have been searching for quite awhile on the best way to go about creating volumetric/visible light in Unity 5 Pro. Even in Unity’s official lighting overview video there seems to be an example of a light beam (example image below) but they don’t mention how it is done. Beginning to feel like I am missing something simple.
How can I create a spotlight the you can see the light? Or simply, what’s the best way to render visible light in your scenes?
Thanks in advance!

Helps if you can also write an answer, since links break. Assuming this is to a Project, but often just the idea can be helpful (ex: "modifier fur shader", "nested transparent cubes," ... .)
– Owen-ReynoldsThanks buddy - brought this into my project and works as expected. A little shocking that something like this isn't built in to Unity, especially with their lighting overhaul in v5. I know it's super expensive effect, but glad this worked out. Thanks!
