I am new here and i started using unity to make my first avatar for VRchat, and what I have created uses a humanoid armature which has extra bones added in that are attached to the humanoid skeleton. When I activated one of the shapekeys or blendshapes for the face, the animation for the humanoid skeleton function normally, but all animation for the extra bones just suddenly stops altogether.
below is my avatar walking, its tendrils flailing all over the place on the floor and those are attached to the toes of the human skeleton.
but once i activate any shapekeys (blendshapes) on the FX controller, the tendrils just lay flat and motionless on the ground as I walk.
What is even more annoying is any of the animations from the Actions layer animation controller become disrupted by animations from the FX layer animation controller. The normal humanoid rig will move accordingly, but all shapekeys and extra bone movements are canceled out entirely
