Vulkan - SteamVR HTC Vive

Hello, just wondering if anyone (hopefully someone from Unity) has successfully build a game using 5.6 and the Vulkan Renderer. I’m excited to try this, but it’s not working. I was able to complete a build, and when I launch the .exe, I see the Vulkan related info in the log file, and the game window launches and displays my game. The problem is that the headset never turns on showing the game, and the little SteamVR window says mygamename.exe is unresponsive.

It would be good to know if there’s something unique to my project that is preventing this from working, or if this is just something that doesn’t work yet. As you guys know, VR games really need all the performance boost you can get, so I would expect many others would like try Vulkan out.

Could you please submit a bug report with a minimal reproduction case for this issue and reply in here with the case #? Then we can take a look at it.

Hi, someone else from Unity in another thread said that Vulkan is not yet supported in SteamVR, so I guess I’ll wait until official support is announced. thanks.
