WebCamTexture.play error, Could not connect pins - RenderStream()

Hi,

I have a win8 tablet computer from Samsung (500T1C-A01) and I want to use one of both webcams with unity3d.

When I use the “WebCamTexture.Play” command the log says (everything is intialized correctly before):

Could not connect pins - RenderStream()
UnityEngine.WebCamTexture:INTERNAL_CALL_PLAY(WebCamTexture)
UnityEngine.WebCamTexture:Play()

I don’t get the webcam texture, it is just black/or has a “development version” texture.

The tablet is up to date, also unity3d is at version 4.0.0f7 (pro).
The webcam is working, also with some other engines (e.g. 3D-GameStudio).

What do you think?

Regards
André

I’ve experienced the same issue on Surface Pro 2.

the issue seems to be a bigger problem inside the editor
when compiling and then running, this currently works a s a workaround for me (but ONLY when it’s compiled, not inside the editor):

	try
	{
       	wct.Play();
	}
	catch ( Exception e )
	{
       	wct.Play();
	}
