Hello! I’m starting the development of a game together with a friend and I was thinking about these Unity licenses. Now my first question is what’s the time period in which we shouldn’t have earned more than 100K? Let me say it in a different way if you didn’t understand. If we earn those 100K in a month we have a problem or if we earn them in a year or if those 100K have been earned through the whole lifetime of the company (or game idk)? Also what happens if we didn’t expect to earn as much so we stayed with the personal license but we actually earned more than 100K? Like does Unity shut down the game or pauses selling till we upgrade or what?

I think it’s annual income over $100k.
If you exceed $100k in the previous 12 months start paying. If you’re earning a lot and you’re not paying unity will likely asked you to sign up before doing anything drastic

Ok, thanks for the quick reply! Now I’m calm that even if there’s a problem Unity will act cool.
It’s earning more than 100k using Unity, not working at cleaning the streets of your city.
