hey all, I’m learning UnityScript (JavaScript for Unity ), and I want to know what is the best (free) text editor based on UnityScript.

I think monodevelop, but u haven’t the correction inside it if u use unifyscript(common called javascript)

That doesn’t apply any more. I’m pretty sure MD has the same intellisense as C# (I use C# with Visual Studio + Resharper which murders MD, but for UnityScript it’s the best)

okay now I get it, cod was saying that Mono’s intellisense is not the best, @Vectrex,I used Microsoft C# and I have seen the intellisense is way better, and also the error syantax, is that what it’s called? basically Microsoff C# is AWESOME.

Yeah imo you would be better learning C# and using Visual C# express which is free.

According my experience Monodeveop is best editor for unity. Except only one missing facility, Word wrapping.

I prefer UNITRON that comes with unity 2.x ++
