Unfortunately, this is extremely unlikely to happen. The WheelCollider is not implemented in Unity, but in PhysX 4, the underlying physics engine in Unity.
PhysX wheels implement a feature to provide contacts along their shape (Suspension Sweeps), but I don’t think this would be ever exposed in Unity. It has been on top of my Top Three Physics Requests for Unity for 4 years now:
