where do you buy your translations from?

I started using cheap freelancing websites, like fiverr, to get things translated but there were always errors. I recently used a company that charged a premium, and they still produced the same quality as the fiverr translators - not just dull translations but blatant errors.

I basically just want to throw money at someone and know without a doubt that the translations are correct. Where do I go for that?

I never translated stuff.
But maybe would be good, to have 2 or 3 different people translating?
First main translation and 2 more just to translations checks and corrections.

I’ve recently gotten several quotes, they are all hovering around the 0.11 Euros per word mark.
In the past I used Mogi Group, as they had 0.08 Euros per word, but now they are up to 0.11 like the others.

I can vouch for Mogi group though, good turnaround and response times, and they were quite thorough when it came to validating context of certain words to make sure they were getting the right translations.

I also would recommend mogi group, otherwise I usually just hire people directly using upwork. The key is not to go for cheap, I go for professionals who have a track record and high ratings - often this is at a premium but the results speak for themselves.

You contract it out to a company. There is no such thing as perfect translation. And making it good involves multiple passes per language, QA sessions and project management. It’s not cheap.

Just hit the internet, search for a professional translation company and strike a deal.

If you have some friends who are foreigners, or who are on some gaming forum, who speak other languages, and they hear you are making a game, and need a translator, they might be more than willing to translate for you. Or better yet, if you decide to pay them for their translating skills.

Get a native speaker with proper command of both languages, or some one certified.
Eg, i have relatives who are properly certified japanese/english/chinese translator who do freelance.

My friend has also made use of a proper outsource group, who is based in india, but surprisingly did a decent job on the chinese to english transcription and translation job which was assigned to them.

Those people on the cheap sites you find maybe throw it through google translate and give it to you directly without validating or with minimal validating, hence the blatant errors. (just guessing)
