Hey,
I’m looking to add professional translations to my game but there are so many companies out there, I wondered if any of you guys have used any you’d recommend or suggest I steer clear of? I don’t want to get ripped off!

Localsoft is good. We worked with them and they came in under another company’s rate. Also it was very fast and we happen to know one of the people that work there

One of my companies had a website that needed translation into 13 languages (we sell semi-trucks all over the world). I went to a large university’s ESL (English as a Second Language) department and was able to find people to translate into all the target languages for very cheap. I put together a Word doc with the needed content and some simple instructions. There were about 20 pages to translate and we paid around $75 per person. The students were happy to pocket some easy money and we’ve gotten positive feedback on all of it.
