It is because the Character Controller collider does not reach its feet when the enemy is encouraged and separated, but at the same time I do not want it to be hurt between their legs.

What you could do is add capsule colliders to the actual bones in the hierarchy. The colliders will move with the bones.

Use the capsule colliders for collision detection with the bullets instead of the character controller collider.
