This asset pack is intended for those who making an adventure, strategy, or action game. You can use them in indiana jones like setting, where player can travel from one to another location with some kind of transport. Or it can be a strategy game about indian’s history period, where different tribes fighting among themselves and can use boats to carry some sort of goods for trade between tribes or for military purposes. They also may be used in quest games where you can put them in your locations to fill such environments like museums. Yami kanoe can also be used in a fantasy style game.

Technical description of this asset pack:

*All boats have 2 LODs.

*All boats uses 2048 x 2048 px textures (albedo, metallness, normal, ambient occlusion maps). Yami kanoe instead of AO map have grunge painted albedo map.

*Yami and Haida kanoes have 2 types of albedo textures (clean and shabby).With clean ones you can create your own color variations for these boats.

*All boats have their custom colliders.

*All boats have their ready to use prefabs.

*Demo scene is uncluded.

*Sketchfab preview included: Here

Hello to everybody!) I’m creating now my debut asset pack, and it will refer to boats. The purpose of this 3d model assets will be:

  1. Using it in action games
  2. Using it in adventure games
  3. Using it in strategy games
  4. Using it for real-time demos
    or for other purposes you may find useful…

Ok. So - here are some screenshots of what i’m done on last week:

First boat and my very first asset - Indian kanoe (PBR):


Tested in Unity 5.3.1

All stuff for this pack will be made using PBR and every boat will have 2 LOD’s.

Hi) Well, i want to make color variations of textures for all boats, because at this moment i know well Substance Painter, but not Substance Designer. But in future of course i will study SD too to add more material features for assets.

No problem, as long as the textures/atlases are included, we can change them ourselves.

Very unique boat. Is this from a real life culture or something you created yourself? I have a few unique cultures in my game and this boat would work very well.

Initially, I had thought to create something non-existent, but then I came to the conclusion that this will be possible to come back later (after’ll create something real). So yes - it’s from real life.

Its a Yami culture - they live in Taiwan

Some update info:
there will be boats with 1 and 2 uv-s. Reason why i did that was because of texel density.

These are beautiful boats. I’ll have to figure out how to use them. :slight_smile:
