Area Light Shadowmask broke in 2020.2

In Unity 2020.2.0f1 Area Light Shadowmask are broken. The same scene in 2020.1 looks correct.
I have made a little sample scene to demonstrate this issue.
The only light in the scene is a Mixed Area Light. Shaders are simple HDRP/Lit shaders.
The error is very obvious on the Sphere.


All channels look good, don’t understand why I get this problem.

I have the same issue with a new asset I am working on. I can’t release it until this problem is fixed. :(.

Unity 2021.1.0b1 with HDRP 11.0.0 has same issue.

Managed to repro on latest HDRP and logged the issue.

Can you give the HDRP version on 2020.1 were it was working properly ?

Hi.
For me the issue is back in
Unity 2021.1.0b4 HDRP 11.0.0.
It was solved around 5 days before i tested in 2021.1.0b2 HDRP 11.0.0…

Unity 2020.2.2f, HDRP 10.2.2 has the issue too.
