Astar pathfinding 2d layer not being assigned.

Hi Unity Answers! I decided to install the astar pathfinding package by Arongranberg to make an AI for my top-down 2D game. I am using the built in AI path script that comes with the package and it works well. But when I assign a specific layer to the obstacle layer mask, the AI won’t calculate the layer as an obstacle and walk right through it. It works for other layers in the layer mask, it just won’t count this specific layer. Has anybody else encountered this problem or know how to solve it?

Nevermind, I figured it out. The layer wasn’t being mapped because the collider the game object had was set to is trigger. I have no idea why astar won’t count game objects that have an is trigger collider, but setting is trigger to false seemed to work for me.
