I got Visual Studio Express Desktop installed on win8.0.
What’s the best way to incorparate it into unity, I did it through preferences but it doesn’t open new tabs when I double-click scripts in unity it opens them in a whole new VS window.
Going to be using mostly C#.
Got tired of moving things around in mono, went with the 5gig loss of hdd space for VS2013.
The best, most seamless, most productive way to get Visual Studio and Unity humming along together is to invest some money in UnityVS. Unfortunately it doesn’t work the Visual Studio Express SKUs. But the experience can’t be beat.
Hmm, well if I make any money I may go down that route, for now I’ll just open the scripts inside of VS, seems to be working okay. thanks for reply
