Can't add Unity Asset Bundle Browser to new project

I’m having trouble adding the Asset Bundle Browser to a new project.

  1. It’s not listed under the Asset Manager list. Refreshing doesn’t work. Normally it’s just below “AR Foundation”.

  2. When I try to add it by the Github link with the “+”, I get an error stating it can’t be added.

Not sure why I’m having trouble now. All of my other projects already have this asset added and is listed by default.

Newer editor version than usual?

I’m asking because the ABB hasn’t been updated in 5 years and is flagged as “not supported” so it may stop working with future editor versions. Check if you can import the url in an older editor. If that works but not in a newer version it’s likely broken (possibly fixable but hard to say).

Yes we did upgrade to a newer Editor. Is there an updated alternative? Or Would I need to do stuff by script now?
