Cant export maya 2015 or Maya LT2016 bend animations to unity 5.

Hi, I created a simple bending animation that I am trying to export to unity5 in fbx format. I can sucessfully export only animations that translate, scale or rotate. Any thing different will not be animated in unity. Can anyone help me please?

If you are using the deformers in Maya then they do not export, you can though use an asset from the store to help, it can recreate the bends for you or you can bake your animation out to a Point Cache or Geom Cache and have it playback. The system has dozens of deformers so can pretty much recreate anything you do in Maya or Max or Blender, or as I said just bake it to a Point Cache, the system supports Maya .mc files.

Or easiest (and cheapest :)) is bones and skin for a simple bend.
