Is it possible to Create 18+/xxx games with unity not to post on the forms but on my website. Does this conflict with the TOS Or EULA?
It does not conflict the TOS or EULA. You can create adult games if you want. There’s also probably a lot of money to be made too, so have fun ;).
If you are doing something commercial and there’s a remote chance it goes against rules, read them yourself. “But officer, this guy on the internet said it would be fine!” won’t fly anywhere.
Chances are, aside from state country laws unity doesn’t explicitly tell you what you can’t do with the software.
I know all types of commercial which one( television or radio, a commercial agreement, or commercial products ). Please specify.
BTW I wasn’t going to advertise this.
He’s right, do your own research. Don’t rely on someone on the form to give you advice about legal stuff. If you can’t understand what you’re reading, seek a lawyer or contact Unity for an official response.
Heh, I’ve read comments by Unity staff themselves on this matter. It is perfectly fine. It’d be silly to think otherwise.
Where can I find just unity staff forms. There is also PM or email.
Actually I would be surprised if there weren’t any adult/XXX games made with unity already.
The only company I know so far who state (at least stated for a long time - I am not sure it’s still in there) in the EULA that they do not want obscene or brutal material made with their software are Pilgway the creators of 3D Coat. Though, even they state that they can’t legally prevent anyone from doing so but they still like to have it in their contracs because they feel it’s the morally right thing for them to do.
I am not a lawyer and I didn’t feel the need to create a XXX game with unity so far but I am pretty sure it’s not a problem with Unity as a company.
But as was said already often times - never rely on any advise on an Internet forum for something that could be problematic for legal reasons.
If you want to create something and want to sell/market it my guess would be that Unity are the least of your legal difficulties on the matter.
One more vote for: If in legal doubt - ask a lawyer ![]()

He doesn’t mean commercial as in an advertisement, he means commercial as in something intended to make money.
But also, he’s perfectly right - asking randoms on the Internet for legal advice isn’t exactly a solid strategy.
Yeah you can make alot of money one guy was selling it at 5-10k a pop
