You didn’t really answer if you are very new to programming. If you didn’t understand any of it, though, I’d have to imagine you are.
You would be far better off by beginning some of the introduction to scripting tutorials, even here on the website, under the ‘Learn’ section. (Learn). Look for the scripting subsection.
There is virtually no point in trying to explain everything without some common knowledge, sorry.
