Your documentation team has been hard at work this month. In addition to adding new content, we also fixed about 200 community-reported issues. Below is a small sample of some of the pages we’ve created or updated recently.
New content:
- Added information about how to use the Project Settings window and reworked and updated the Editor Project Settings page.
- Added content about how texture slicing works in UI Toolkit.
- Added a new landing page about Multiplayer Services.
Updated content:
- Updated the firewall proxy exception list.
- Added information about the preferred method to add test assemblies to a package.
- Updated the Preferences page to include information about Editor Text Sharpness, Busy Progress delay, Create Game View on Play, Use Project Path in Window Title, Timestamp Editor Log Entries, Enable Helper Bar, Enable PlayMode tooltips, Default Prefab Mode, Show all Windows in Taskbar, Graph Snapping, and Default Prefab Mode.
Fixes based on user feedback:
- Added content about how to toggle the Pickability of a Game Object.
- Fixed typo in the Global Cache page, and added missing subfolder.
- Clarified that the gradient of the terrain is always positive.
- Fixed a broken link in UXML element ScrollView.
- Updated a code example that shows how to control the behavior of the input text.
