Hello, I'm new to scripting

I am starting to think of ideas for how to create games, and how they should be programmed “conceptually”, like the math and the numbers, but not any of the code. I have no idea where to start, so if anybody could recommend something for me to look at (tutorials, help, people), that would be great.

Thanks,

I suggest you start from here: Learn game development w/ Unity | Courses & tutorials in game design, VR, AR, & Real-time 3D | Unity Learn

Have you already looked at the Unity tutorials?

I skimmed them, was looking to find something more in depth

EDIT: Don’t like learning style

But if your are beginning you shouldn’t go anywhere else. It may be vague when we point you at unity tutorials, but you should really know the very basics before trying do things on your own. Run some test’s, know your limits, be sure to know the very basics and always have fun. That’s my tip

Okay, thanks all!

There are plenty of courses on YouTube. But they all assume a passing familiarity with the material on the Learn section. No point trying to compete with Unity when it comes to producing tutorials for Unity.
