How can I get better terrain?

Hi, I would like to create a terrain for a game with trees and mountains around a flat area where all the game happened. I don’t want it to be too realistic, but what I have is absolutely not realistic :disappointed:. So if you have some tips…

Usually what you would do in order to make the terrain realistic, with the lowest amount of effort possible, is using the Unity Terrain system.

As you can see having the right textures and details will shape your landscape really well, watch out for the performance though, if you are planning a release on mobile devices you should avoid Unity’s Terrain system but if you target PCs then it should work just fine.
