Yes I use that but it’s adding extra nodes, hence the question.
Different systems have different ways of doing things. It seems like you’re just asking for the sake of pointing out that you prefer a different approach, instead of learning how to do something. The generated code is no more or less efficient.
Your assumptions are incorrect: the post is not about code efficiency or, initially, about preferences, also incorrect that systems way of presenting UI is always inherent: any engine can implement most ergonomic workflow if it’s additive, as is the case here.
But now that it’s clear there is no such function, I’ll relabel this post as Feature Request.
Totally agree. The need to split as a separate node is a poor UX. It’s like people don’t understand that saving a few seconds across thousands of developers and over years adds up to serious human life wasted.
