This is just a feature I’ve been wanting for a long time, for example, if I need to generate branching branches at the top of a branch, maybe first I should use Extend parent and adjust the chance in the splits to a value of 1, but this can only extend two seamless branches at the top.
If I want to extend 3 seamless branches at the top, I probably need to adjust the quantity to 3 in the Extend parent. Although the Extend parent produces seamless branches, the starting angle of the Extend parent cannot be adjusted. The staff told me that I need to adjust the parent curl under the spine parameter, but I found that it only adjusts the curl value and it is difficult to control the starting angle.
One method I have learned so far is to use tree branches. The generation mode is set to interval mode, and I can adjust the count to 3 (or more or less, I can freely adjust it). In common, the position is adjusted to the top, and I can freely adjust the starting angle. The tree branches created at the top are all derived from a common starting point.
I will provide a picture for everyone to better understand.
Although this method has good controllability, there are still obvious unwelded marks on the top of the branches
Therefore, how I wish that the extend parent could have a separate parameter to adjust the starting angle, or that it could provide a welding technique for the top branch。
This is just my unrealistic suggestion, thank you
