Hey guys, I was hoping someone could assist me with setting up an mmorpg server. Or show me a good tutorial on how to do it? I’ve seen a few tutorials but they’re all FPS tutorials and/or tutorials on how the players can host servers, I just want like 2 or 3 servers that are dedicated to the game that no one other than myself can alter. Any ideas?
The first step would be to actually code the several serverside applications that would service your MMO client.
These tutorials will be going for several Months so it’s nothing you can pick up and have a full working game by tomorrow but then again no MMO tutorial would be that simple since MMOs aren’t simple to create. If you don’t have the Dedication to see it through then you might as well give up and make something smaller…
