I would like to change the colour of play, pause, etc. icons in the editor.

Basically, it’s hard for me to see the blue colour of the play button when it’s active, in dark mode. I know, I can use light mode. But I’d like to change it to something more visible in dark mode so I don’t accidentally press it thinking I’m not in play mode. Dark mode is easier on my eyes than light mode.
I know you can do it, but I don’t know how to change that specific colour. Can someone help me isolate it, please? I’d be extremely grateful.

You can change the color of the windows in preferences. Not sure about the play buttons, but this really helps a lot to see if you are in play mode or not (and is my first setup when installing unity on a new system)

Ah, yeah, I can change the play mode tint, to make it obvious I’m in that mode… that will do, as well.
Still, might be useful to know how change the background colour of the buttons, too. In case anyone else comes here trying to find that… but the play mode tint also works, so maybe not needed.

Thank you!

You can make a feature request on the roadmap for that if needed
