Learning Unity and wanting to create iPhone games.

I am VERY new at Unity. I am a developer for iPhone apps and I want to get my hands dirty in game development for the iPhone. I am wondering about something that someone may be able to answer easily for me.

If I learn Unity on my Mac without having purchased the iPhone addition yet, will it be easy for my to either convert my games over to the iPhone once I get the iPhone addition or will I have to re-create the entire game for the iPhone?

How different is it to develop for the iPhone than it is to develop for the web or Mac?

Thanks so much for any help you can give me. I’m a little stuck at a crossroad. I’m trying to decide to develop iPhone games with Unity or to just stick with the SDK iOS4 and Objective-C.

Unity makes developing games for different platforms pretty seamless.

You simply create your game, then change your target platform to iOS, then Unity adds the game as an app on your phone. (This is how it works for Android devices, I assume IPhone is similar)

You really don’t need to change much although iOS has its own set of limitations that are well documented in the Unity documentation.

So in short development is 90% the same, although you’d need to optimise your game more because of the IPhones lesser processing power than say you’d have on a PC.

but how doi get my fame that i made working and on my iphone 3g
