Hi, I was forced to use 2019.3 because the GPU lightmapping was incredibly slow in 2019.2. Now I have a different problem, which is lightmap artifacts covering most objects. I couldn’t work out whether it was something wrong with my custom models, so I set up an empty scene with a default capsule and box, both scaled by 10 and was able to reproduce these artifacts. I also get the same result baking via the CPU as well. Is anyone else getting these artifacts? The screenshot is shown below.
Could you please submit a bug report for this issue?
Hi, I was about to submit a bug report when I noticed that while testing it in the default URP scene it did not occur. So I looked at the differences in the lighting panel between this scene and a newly created scene and found that having ‘Optix’ set as the ‘Indirect Denoiser’ option was the cause of the problem. So I will just use a different option instead of submitting a bug report.
thanks
