Hi all,
When I bake lightmaps with Unity, my own models turn very dark - almost black. What is causing this?
I set up a Unity cube and a capsule beside my object, gave them all the same basic diffuse material without any texture and still my model turns very dark - it does have generate UVs for lightmaps enabled.
Can you post an example scene where this happens?

The problem seems to be in my models - so it’s not Unity’s problem. I just tested with a very simple model imported from Max and it works, but my game prop does not - have to check it in Max…
Fixed that - there were some normal issue with my polys. I used reset XForm in Max and converted the whole thing from editable poly to editable mesh and reimported to Unity - works!
