My reported issue not being listed

Hello everyone,

I did report a bug with Unity but seems that no-one is looking at it, also it does not appear in the issues list. How can I know the status of it ?

This is my case ( been more than half a month)
http://fogbugz.unity3d.com/default.asp?652241_u1quqru4ilmgr9ed

I did search for this problem on http://issuetracker.unity3d.com/ but it’s telling nothing found.

I tried to find a submit issue or bug report or something on that issue tracker, nothing found neither…

Can anyone point me to the right direction ? I want to vote on my reported bug and telling people to vote on it but can not found a way to do it ?

Or, Am I missing something terribly simple ?

The issue tracker lists bugs reports they have successfully reproduced. So it’s a subset of all bug reports received. In order to have a better chance of getting a bug reproduced, include a project. Just writing out some steps is less likely to get results, since it’s possible to accidentally leave out relevant info, and you’re expecting QA to write scripts themselves to test it, which may or may not match what you’re actually doing. If they can just open a project and instantly press a key to see the problem, it’s much better for everyone.

By the way, don’t post your fogbugz link; just write the case #. Unless you don’t mind everyone seeing all your info.

Where possible, provide unity a test scene.

Thanks a lot  I will try to submit a test scene then

How can you get people vote for your bug if it will not be listed in the issue tracker? Someone else and I had the same bug, I report a bug and he wants to vote up for it. How can he do without having it displayed in the issue tracker? xD Case # 657632. I just uploaded it, so I know it won’t show in issue tracker for now, but when it will be? Thanks a lot guys

See what I wrote above; it will be in the issue tracker if QA can reproduce it.

My bad, I misunderstood your post, thank you!

So I submitted a test scene with the new bug report case #658422
It’s easy to reproduce to hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Thanks a lot.

It’s been long, any update ? :frowning: Anyone @anon_36705745 looking on this ?
