No Unsupported Target module loaded

Working with the latest 5.3 beta of the Unity Editor. Trying to simply do a desktop build but the ‘build’ button is greyed out in Build Settings>PC, mac & Linux standalone.

Why?

I assume I need to load a 'Unsupported Target Module' somehow from the module manager. But how?

I have the same problem but I can't find any list of modules to install. The downloader/installer only lists Unity and Mono. I have no clue what I'm supposed to do to be able to build for Android or any other platform now.

Hi @eco_bach  I answered your question via Twitter but am posting this here for all users. In 5.3 you have to select each platform you want support for

Thanks. What I missed was the 'Download installer' button is synonymous with 'download assistant'

thx for the info holliebuckets, i never used assistant before i can't understand why they did this change, i was always distributing the link to 64bits version for my artistic team so they have no trouble to update unity, now we are screwed .... ty unity team, next time let us download each module separately

Thank you so much holliebuckets!

And if I already installed Unity 5.3 without Android module do I have to delete and install again everything?

You can only (de)select Unity Editor and MonoDevelop. So the installer (which interestingly enough shrunk in size from over 1 GB to 200-300 MB) is broken now? I won't download a downloader. Edit: The assistant actually lets you keep the downloaded installation files. Everything is alright again. :)

This is what people mean when there’s only the Unity and MonoDevelop options.
