Physical camera properties in Cinemachine

Hello there

I am currently using Unity Cinemacine system to make cutscenes

However, I realized that there are few things I can tweak in addition to the FOV

Which makes the camera result nor good enough to compete with traditional CG software like Maya.

Is there a way I can use Physical camera properties for Cinemachine like it use to work in unity 2017, or do you have a plan to upgrade the System in the future?

Thanks

W

Cinemachine has support for the new Physical Camera properties in Unity Camera. Just enable the checkbox in your main Camera.

Also, there are many other properties you can tweak if you add the PostProcessingStack package, and its integration with Cinemachine.

and then:

Hello [Gregoryl]( https://discussions.unity.com/t/725300 members/gregoryl.1242385/)
Unfortunately, I am unable to find the checkbox for Physical camera property in my project

Is it because I am using the new HD render pipeline?

If so, will that be support in the future time?

Thanks.

The physical camera property is only in Unity 2018. You need to upgrade Unity to get it.

Hi Gregoryl

as you can see in the image

I am using unity 2018, yet the checkbox is not present in the view

Hmmm. I don’t know why you’re not seeing physical camera. Maybe you can post that question on the HDRP forum: Unity Engine - Unity Discussions
