Pixyz is now Unity Asset Transformer

We’re excited to announce that Pixyz is now Unity Asset Transformer. This name change better reflects our mission to simplify 3D data transformation and align with Unity’s vision. Your existing products, workflows, and licences remain fully supported.

not that the name matters for my usage,
but doesn’t seem very “catchy” and doesn’t offer good abbreviations?
and most importantly doesn’t convey the most common use case (converting 3d cad files), or at least i havent heard “asset” being used in CAD world?

You are talking about the licenses - Will there be a migration from the pixyz-software.com URL to the Unity Web organization area so that all licenses will be under the same hood in the near future?

Additionally, what about the API. Everything is in a pxz namespace. Will this also be removed sooner than later?

p.s.
I also think that the link from the Pixyz Software Download page should point directly to this thread, not into the forums area. Maybe except for when you pin this thread to the top :wink:
