You likely need to congratulate your ultracool window modification software.
its messing in (may I guess: WindowBlinds, the enemy of any reasonable developer?
)
Im not using windows blinds, Im using a signed Windows (Zune) theme? Ive changed my them back to the Luna theme but the problems still there, any other suggestions :(.
its really annoying
Are you referring to the black XP theme he’s using? Never tried WindowBlinds but I have used the Zune theme that’s floating around. If that’s the case, it shouldn’t cause any issues. Perhaps then it might be the 3D app / file export that’s causing the problem? What app is it built in, what file format are you using? What does the model look like in the inspector?
Also, what happens when you re-import the model?
I used google sketchup to create my model, then export it to dae model ![]()
And I cannot see anything in the inspector, the tooltips show up but thats it.
and Ive Reimported it using several formats but the same thing happens ![]()
Can you export as a .OBJ from Sketchup? If so, give that a try. I suspect that the DAE file isn’t exporting properly (or Unity isn’t reading it properly).
screenys from google sketchup
problems still there though, Plus it brings up a error if i export it in obj format
And again sorry for the HUGE pictures
.j
Over last night I installed Vista to see if the problem was XP but the problems still there :x
It’s Actually Got Worse!
Now whenever I put a 3d model on the scene it doesnt show up in the hirierchy
Just to clarify, did you try going ahead with the .obj import? If so, did you get the same problem as with the .dae file?
